The college constituted its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the academic year 2024-25, in line with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The IQAC forms committees as the guidelines require and steadily implements quality initiatives to raise the standards of the college. It also sets administrative standards through clear policies and procedures for the academic and administrative functions of the college.
Objectives
- Develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve academic and administrative performance.
- Promote quality enhancement through a quality culture and institutionalised best practice.
- Channel institutional efforts towards academic excellence.
- Ensure timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
Functions
- Develop and apply quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
- Create a learner-centric environment for quality education.
- Collect feedback from students, parents and other stakeholders on institutional processes.
- Share information on quality parameters with stakeholders.
- Organise workshops and seminars on quality themes.
- Document programmes and activities that lead to quality improvement.
- Act as the nodal agency for quality-related activities.
- Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines.
- Maintain an institutional database for quality-related activities.
